Pray For Our President

As everyone probably knows, last night Barack Obama became the new President of the United States. Many, many, Americans are so thrilled with the outcome. Me on the other hand, I am a bit nervous. I'm proud that our county has come such a long way that we now are able to elect African-Americans, as well as women. That is such a great thing. My problem is that I personally do NOT trust Obama. I hope more than anything that I am wrong and that he will make a outstanding President. Last night my mom and I were talking and we decided that now is not the time to fear. Now is the time to look to the Lord and put all of our trust, faith, and hope in him. We need to be strong in the gospel, listen to our Prophet and build up our testimonies so that no matter what happens, we will be okay. We need to pray for our President that he will do what is best for our country and lead us in a better direction. What ever does happen, I know that God loves us and as scary as the world is, and may get, this is only temporary. I'm proud to be and American, but even more than that, I am proud to be a daughter of God. I love my county and I will continue to pray for it and learn to put more of my trust in God. GOD BLESS THE USA!
